The Nigerian national football team, also known as the Super Eagles, has made changes to their camp schedule in preparation for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying game against South Africa’s fondly called Bafana Bafana, Reelradio.com.ng reports.

The team will now report to camp three days earlier than initially planned, on Tuesday, May 28th, instead of Saturday, June 1st.

This adjustment will give the Super Eagles ample time to prepare for the important match in Uyo.

On Friday, June 7, Bafana Bafana will face off against Finidi George’s team at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

A few days later, they will also compete against the Squirrels of Benin. The Super Eagles currently rank third in Group C with two points from two games.

Rwanda holds the top spot in the group with four points, while South Africa sits in second place with three points.
