AFCON Qualifiers: Eight Super Eagles Arrive In Abidjan For Benin Republic Clash

Ahead of their AFCON qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda, eight players from the Super Eagles have reported to the team camp in Abidjan.

The squad will first compete against Benin, followed by a match against Rwanda in the concluding games of the qualifiers. Additional players are anticipated to join shortly as preparations commence.

Currently in camp are AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze and Nantes forward Moses Simon, among others.

The players expected to arrive soon include Stanley Nwabali, Maduka Okoye, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Calvin Bassey, William Troost-Ekong, Ola Aina, Alex Iwobi, Alhassan Yusuf, Wilfred Ndidi, Victor Collins, Ademola Lookman, Victor Osimhen, Kelechi Iheanacho, Victor Boniface, and Umar Sadiq.

Although the Super Eagles only require a single point from their remaining two matches to secure qualification for the 2025 tournament in Morocco, they remain committed to delivering a strong performance in the upcoming fixtures.
