Nigerian national football team captain, Ahmed Musa, has left Turkish club Sivasspor after 17 months, Reelradio.com.ng reports.
Ahmed Musa reportedly terminated his contract due to unpaid wages, according to top Nigerian football analyst Tobi Adepoju.
Adepoju, citing inside sources, revealed that Ahmed Musa notified the club of his intention to terminate the contract in December due to outstanding salaries. After a one-month notice period stipulated in his contract, both parties agreed to a mutual termination.
The versatile forward is already working on a move to another club in the summer.
Musa joined Sivasspor from another Turkish outfit, Fatih Karagumruk in 2022.
He made nine league appearances for the club without a goal to his name.
