Saudi Pro League side Al Ittihad will make another offer for Liverpool star Mohamed Salah before their transfer window closes on Thursday, Reelradio.com.ng reports.

Sources close to the situation have revealed that a Saudi Arabian delegation arrived in London over the weekend. They will embark on a last-ditch effort to convince Liverpool to part ways with Salah.

Despite Liverpool’s unwavering stance that Salah is not for sale, senior figures within Al Ittihad believe it’s worth giving it one more shot, while others counsel patience until the next summer transfer window.

Last Thursday, Liverpool rejected a staggering £150 million offer from Al Ittihad for the 31-year-old forward.

However, the Saudi club remains undeterred. They plan to increase their offer to an astonishing £200 million within 48 hours.

The belief is that Salah may entertain the idea of joining Al Ittihad. This notion has sparked optimism among the Saudi delegation.

With the transfer window closing on Thursday, there’s a sense of urgency within Al Ittihad’s camp. Some sources suggest they might reconsider their pursuit if Tuesday doesn’t bring positive development.

In a recent statement following Liverpool’s resounding 3-0 victory over Aston Villa on Sunday, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp reaffirmed his confidence in Salah’s commitment to the club.

Klopp said (via Sky Sports): “I never had any doubts about his commitment to this club. You can’t imagine how much fuss the world has made, but how calm we are with it. He is our player, and he wants to play here.”

However, Al Ittihad appear poised to test Klopp’s assertions with renewed interest and significant financial clout.

As the clock ticks down to the transfer window’s closure, the footballing world awaits the outcome of this high-stakes negotiation.

Salah is one of the best players in the world and is still in top form. A move to the Saudi League will be a significant coup and send a message to European clubs.
