The Golden Eaglets’ final Group B match against Togo has been rescheduled to tomorrow due to heavy rain in Accra, Ghana, making the pitch unplayable.
The game will now take place at 9am at University of Ghana stadium, instead of the originally planned 5pm today.
The announcement was made by team spokesman Francis Achi.
Due to the same reason, the game between Niger and Burkina Faso has been postponed and will be played tomorrow at the same time as the Eaglets match.
Additionally, heavy rain led to the postponement of the Group B match between Togo and Niger by one day.
Currently, Burkina Faso leads Group B with four points and a superior goal difference compared to the Eaglets, who also have four points from two matches.
It’s worth noting that hosts Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire have already secured spots in the semifinals of the competition from Group A.
