CAF has unveiled an exciting new logo and trophy for the 2024 CHAN tournament, highlighting the deep connections to African football and culture.

The redesigned TotalEnergies CHAN 2024 trophy features a contemporary and elegant design, blending gold and silver accents to reflect the tournament’s esteemed status and its rising prominence.

One striking aspect of the trophy is the 54 unique lines that wrap around it, symbolizing the unity of Africa’s 54 nations, with a map of the continent beautifully positioned at its center.

This distinctive design element embodies the championship’s focus on diversity and unity, showcasing how the tournament fosters connections among African nations through the love of football. The trophy stands as a significant representation of the continuous advancement of African football and the collective enthusiasm for the game that binds the continent together.

The TotalEnergies CHAN 2024 will be the eighth edition of the finals and the first time the tournament is hosted in East Africa since Rwanda held it in 2016. An exhilarating competition awaits, with 19 teams vying for the championship title.

The Final Draw for the TotalEnergies CHAN 2024 is scheduled for January 15 at the esteemed Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi, Kenya. The event will kick off at 20:00 local time (17:00 GMT / 19:00 Cairo) and will be broadcast live on CAF’s YouTube channel and CAF TV.
