Nigerian champions, Edo Queens, are set to learn about their opponents in the CAF Women’s Champions League on Friday.
As stated on the official CAF website, the draw ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Complex Mohamed VI in Salé, Morocco.
This will mark Edo Queens’ first participation in the tournament.
Moses Aduku’s team achieved qualification for the annual tournament by clinching the WAFU B Women’s title in August.
Aigles de la Medina from Senegal, the University of the Western Cape from South Africa, Tutankhamun from Egypt, and CBE FC from Ethiopia will also participate in the tournament for the first time.
Defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns from South Africa, AS FAR from Morocco, and TP Mazembe from the Democratic Republic of Congo are among the other teams vying for the prestigious title.
The final tournament is scheduled to take place from November 9 to November 23, 2024.
