Brown Ideye has moved on from Enyimba’s elimination in the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Elephants suffered a 3-1 defeat to Zamalek in their final match of Group D on Sunday.
This loss marked their third defeat in six matches, resulting in a third-place finish.
Ideye, who participated in the match against the Egyptian team, expressed on X: “Unto the next one…”
Enyimba required a victory and was reliant on Al Masry not winning against Black Bulls Maputo in the other group match.
Zamalek and Al Masry advanced to the quarter-finals with 14 and nine points, respectively, while Enyimba and Black Bulls Maputo were eliminated.
