Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze made his debut for AC Milan in their 2-0 victory over Bologna in matchday one of the Italian Serie A played at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara on Monday night, Reelradio.com.ng reports.
First half goals from Olivier Giroud and Pulisic got Milan’s campaign off to a perfect start.
Giroud gave Milan the lead in the 11th minute before Pulisic made it 2-0 10 minutes later.
Chukwueze who was named on the bench for AC Milan’s opening Italian Serie A game of the 2023/2024 season came off the bench to replace fellow debutant Christian Pulisic who had a stunning game.
He got his first taste of action in the 76th minute through a corner kick which got cleared by the Bologna defence.
The 24-year-old didn’t have much to do as Stefano Pioli was looking to protect their lead when he came on.
The former Villarreal forward only had 12 touches of the ball, attempted just one dribble and completed 63% of his passes.
Milan are now fourth in the league table courtesy of the win at Bologna.
