Coach Kenny Miller has delivered his strongest Rangers XI ahead of this weekend’s season opener against Kilmarnock, Reelradio.com.ng reports.
Rangers have added eight new players to their squad so the battle for places will be quite something come the start of the campaign.
The Light Blues have bolstered their squad with the signings of eight players in the summer transfer window, including two Nigeria internationals Cyriel Dessers and Leon Balogun
Leon Balogun is given Rangers’ defensive worries with Leon King, who doesn’t need to be named on the squad, still being out injured, while Cyriel Dessers is in the squad as a guarantee player in the squad.
However, Miller has predicted that Balogun will drop out of the starting lineup for the trip to Rugby Park, while Dessers will make his full debut against Killie.
Rangers have also lost to Newcastle, beaten Hamburg and lost to Olympiacos in preparation for their Premiership opener against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on August 5 and Gers boss Beale is keen for the real action to start.
