End of story: ‘KV Kortrijk dissolves contracts of Ajagun, Imoh Ezekiel’
KV Kortrijk has failed to find a new club for Imoh Ezekiel and Abdul Ajagun. Their contracts are therefore terminated by mutual agreement, Reel Radio reports.
Ezekiel, in particular, was hailed as a big name. Ezekiel played in the past at Standard, Anderlecht, Konyaspor and Las Palmas. However, he was never able to impress at KV Kortrijk. He played 39 games, but did not get more than six goals and two assists.
Ajagun ended up at KV Kortrijk in 2017, which bought it from Panathinaikos. Last season he was loaned out to Omonia Nicosia from Cyprus. Just like his fellow countryman Ezekiel, he still had a contract with KV Kortrijk until the end of the season.
