DENNIS NYA SHINES AS ZESCO UNITED CLAIM 2-0 VICTORY OVER NKANA FC

In a thrilling encounter at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, former Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) star, Dennis Nya, led Zesco United to a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Nkana FC in match week 20 of the MTN Premier League Zambia.
The center-back, who has been an integral part of Zesco United’s success since joining the team in the 2022/2023 season, put in a solid shift to help his team claim all three points. Nya’s impressive performance earned him the Man of the Match award, a testament to his leadership and skills on the pitch.
Zesco United’s victory was a crucial one, as it helped the team maintain their second-place position on the log with 36 points. Nya’s team is now level on points with Kabwe Warriors, but trails behind by four goals in terms of goal difference.
The defender’s individual stats are equally impressive, with 20 appearances, 9 wins, 9 draws, and 2 losses. His leadership and experience have been invaluable to Zesco United, and his Man of the Match award is a well-deserved recognition of his hard work.
Nya was not the only Zesco United player to receive recognition for his outstanding performance. Striker Freddy Michael also earned a Man of the Match award, with both players receiving a K2000 reward from the club’s supplier.
