The Malian team finished at the bottom of Group B, earning just four points from six matches, while Enyimba wrapped up their Group D campaign in third place with a total of five points.
Typically, the leading 12 nations in the CAF coefficient rankings are allocated four spots for continental competitions, while those ranked lower receive only two.
