Hatayaspor set to sign young Nigerian Forward

Turkish Super Lig club Hatayaspor has agreed a deal to sign young Nigerian forward Jonathan Okoronkwo from Russian Premier League club, Krasnodar.

The 20-year-old started his professional career with Bulgarian side Botev Plovdiv after moving from Diamond Academy in Calabar.

Okoronkwo joined the Russian club side Krasnodar on loan later in the year before making the move permanent in 2023.

However, according to reports from Turkey, Hatayaspor has agreed a deal with the young forward and is set to complete his signature this summer.

Okoronkwo who had a stellar performance while on loan to Russian club side Arsenal Tula last season, scored 17 goals in 30 appearances across all competitions and would be hoping to take his incredible form into the new season.
