Victor Osimhen’s Italian agent Andrea D’Amico has hinted that he may transfer to the Premier League this summer, citing interest from Arsenal and other international clubs.
The Nigerian striker, who is under contract with Napoli for another two seasons, is anticipated to leave during the summer transfer window.
Osimhen has attracted interest from numerous premier clubs in Europe, including a significant offer from Saudi Arabia.
Both Al Hilal and Al-Ahli have apparently expressed a desire to trigger his €130 million release clause at Napoli.
Despite these substantial offers, sources close to Osimhen indicate that his preference remains firmly set on completing his career in European football.
Andrea D’Amico, speaking on Osimhen’s future, stated that choices about his next steps may be delayed until after the European Championships.
D’Amico emphasized that clubs want to see how the tournament plays out before making any transfer decisions.
He added that many teams like to examine player performances during important tournaments before making transfer decisions.
“It’s too early to say, there is a clause, and in my opinion, we will have to wait until the end of the European Championships: many want to study this competition, because it has already happened that profiles emerge, important players are confirmed, and thus important goals are scored,” D’Amico said in an interview with Radio Marte, as reported by Area Napoli.
D’Amico also claimed that Osimhen will go to the Premier League, with Arsenal and other unknown teams interested in recruiting him.
“In any case, I believe that the most likely destination for Osimhen is always the Premier League, with more than one club that may be interested,” he stated.
