Top Belgian club side KAA Gent have completed the signing of Water FC trio Emeka Chinonso and Adewale Oladoye for an undisclosed fee, Reel Radio reports.
Gent via its social media handle announced the capture of former Flying Eagles striker Emeka Chinonso and Adewale Oladoye.
Both players from Abuja based club Water caught their teeth with Nigeria Under 20 teams where they got attention with their amazing performance.
Chinonso was part of Nigeria U20 to FIFA World Cup in Poland in 2019 and was also part of Nigeria U23 to Africa Games.
He scored the solitary goal that took Nigeria to the final of the Africa games in Morocco.
Gent made the formal announcement and said both players will teem up with the reserves team before joining up with the first team.
Owner and financier of Water FC, Nureni Makanjuola, a man that is highly respected and adored for his humility over the years, has succeeded in moving 4 top talents to top European clubs in just under 12 months and he has promised to do even more before the year runs out.
Speaking after sealing this latest deal, MK as he is fondly called by his admirers said, “this is the work of God, he is mighty and must be praised at all time”.
The likes of Babatunde Micheal, Gabriel Okechukwu and Success Makanjuola all plying their football trades abroad were once graduates of WATER FC of Abuja, the home of the next Nigerian super star.
