Nantes’ Moses Simon putting on a show!

With two assists for FC Nantes in the spectacular 5-3 Round 6 win over Lorient, Moses Simon returned to the foot of the podium on the official Ligue 1 Uber Eats assist charts. What a performance from the Nigerian international, reports.

Involved in three of Nantes‘ five goals against FC Lorient on Saturday, Moses Simon was one of the shining lights on Ligue 1 Uber Eats Round 6. The Nigerian international set up Matthis Abline’s and Florent Mollet’s goals (and then rounded out the scoring by converting a penalty) thus clocking his second and third assists of the season.

This gave Simon a significant boost in the official assist rankings, moving him up from 37th to 4th place in the space of one match!

The diminutive winger, who arrived at FC Nantes from Levante in the summer of 2019, has rediscovered his form and efficiency in the early stages of the current season.

With two goals and three assists, he has been directly involved in 45% of Les Canaris‘ goals this season. With a total of 129 Ligue 1 Uber Eats appearances, Simon has a total 24 goals and 25 assists to his name.
