Negotiations hit a snag between PSG and Napoli regarding Osimhen deal

Negotiations between Paris Saint-Germain and Napoli regarding the transfer of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen have encountered a major obstacle, as reports indicate that the two clubs have been unable to make any progress.

Renowned football transfer specialist, Fabrizio Romano, has highlighted PSG’s reluctance to include South Korean midfielder Kang-in Lee in the negotiations as a crucial sticking point.

Napoli expressed a strong interest in adding the skilled playmaker to their team as part of the Osimhen deal, however, their request was decisively turned down by the French powerhouse.

Additionally, PSG has displayed no intention of meeting Napoli’s €130 million assessment of Osimhen by activating his release clause.

Given these circumstances persisting, the likelihood of Osimhen transferring to Paris seems to be diminishing at this point.

Meanwhile, PSG seems to be satisfied with their current attacking choices. The team is said to be pleased with the displays of both Goncalo Ramos and Randal Kolo Muani, indicating that they are not in urgent need of acquiring a new striker at all costs.

Last week, it was announced that PSG and Osimhen have reached an agreement on personal terms amounting to €14m per season.
