The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced the conditions for coaches interested in participating in the upcoming CAF B License Coaching Course. The five-month course, scheduled to take place from April 7 to August 25, 2025, aims to enhance the capacity of Nigerian coaches and prepare them for future challenges.
To be eligible, interested candidates must possess a CAF C License, be an active coach, and pay a registration fee of N500,000. Other requirements include basic computer skills, a laptop, a valid Gmail account, and a medical certificate proving physical and mental fitness.
The NFF Technical Director, Coach Augustine Eguavoen, stated that the course is part of the federation’s strategic effort to build the capacity of coaches across the country. The program will be conducted in modules, with a maximum of 25 participants.
The registration fee of N500,000 per participant is expected to generate N12.5 million for the NFF. Interested coaches must submit their applications and pay the registration fee on or before March 31, 2025.
This development follows the successful organization of a CAF C-License program exclusively for women coaches in 2024. The NFF’s commitment to investing in the development of Nigerian coaches is expected to have a positive impact on the country’s football landscape.
