NNL Club side, Barau Football Club has suspended Salisu Yusuf from his position as Technical Adviser, effective immediately.
The decision was announced in a statement by the club’s Media Officer, Ahmad Hamisu Gwale.
According to the statement, the management appreciated Yusuf’s efforts during his tenure, particularly in the Nigerian National League (NNL) 2024/2025.
However, they deemed it necessary to make a change in the team’s technical leadership.
Consequently, Chief Coach Rabi’u Tata has been appointed as the interim Technical Adviser.
Tata will be supported by his assistant as the team continues its campaign in the NNL.
Yusuf’s suspension brings an end to his tenure at Barau FC, and the club will be hoping that the change in leadership will yield positive results on the pitch.
