NPFL: Akwa United re-appoint Boboye new technical adviser

Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side, Akwa United have re-appointed Kennedy Boboye as their new head coach.

The club officially introduced Boboye on Thursday.

At the age of 50, he succeeds Mohammed Babaganaru, who stepped down from his role last month following a disappointing beginning to the season.

In their last five matches, Akwa United has secured only one victory. The Promise Keepers concluded the first half of the season in 19th place.

Boboye has previously achieved success in the Nigeria Premier Football League, having won the title with both Plateau United and Akwa United.
