Ikorodu City’s interim head coach, Nurudeen Aweroro, asserts that with the appropriate mindset, the team can reach their objectives for the season.
The Oga Boys have remained undefeated in their last three matches in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Currently, Ikorodu City holds the 17th position on the NPFL standings, having accumulated eight points.
Aweroro expressed that his team will continue to strive to preserve their position in the top division.
“I am extremely pleased and thrilled with our victory against Lobi Stars; this match was one of the most challenging we have faced in the NPFL,” Aweroro stated to Ikorodu City media.
“I don’t want to be too happy until Ikorodu City is part of the top five in the league.”
Ikorodu City is set to face Enyimba in a week nine match scheduled to take place in Aba this weekend.
