Enyimba has officially announced the appointment of Stanley Eguma as their new head coach.

Eguma will assume leadership of the nine-time champions of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) following the dismissal of Yemi Olanrewaju.

Olanrewaju was relieved of his duties on Saturday due to the team’s disappointing performance in recent matches.

Stanley Eguma is a prominent figure in the NPFL, having served as the head coach of Rivers United for 16 years, during which he secured two NPFL titles before his departure after a defeat to Remo Stars in a match he was expected to win.

With Stanley Eguma at the helm, Enyimba is optimistic that his extensive experience will aid in reversing their fortunes in the CAF Confederations Cup while also positioning them to compete effectively in the NPFL in the near future.
