Enyimba head coach Finidi George has said the title holders will continue to fight hard to retain their title.
This came after their 1-1 draw against Sunshine Stars in Akure on Sunday.
The People’s Elephant maintained second position on the log following a hard-earned point during the weekend while current table toppers, Enugu Rangers lost 2-0 to Rivers United.
The outcome of the results saw closed the gap between the two teams and reduced to two points.
It was an action filled Matchweek 31 as teams in the top 4 all dropped points, leaving just four points separating them.
”I think after having this one point here, we would build on it and see how we can win at home,” Finidi told the club’s official website.
“We will continue to push till the end of the season, this is Enyimba, we don’t give up, so we will see what happens at the end of the day.
“Others are playing also to see how they can win, I think this one point will go a long way.”
