Omar won the first set 11-8, but Aruna fought back to win the second and third sets 11-2, 11-2. Omar won the fourth set 11-7, and Aruna won the fifth set 11-9.
The Egyptian international won the final two sets 11-9, 11-0, and 4-3 in favour of himself.
This means that Omar has defeated Aruna three times in the African Games final.
