Adana Demirspor President Murat Sancak has dropped a bombshell, revealing that the club is looking to part ways with Nigeria international Henry Onyekuru, Reelradio.com.ng reports.

This revelation comes just days after the winger signed a permanent deal with the club following an impressive loan spell from Olympiakos last season.

Onyekuru linked up with the Blues Lightnings on loan from Greek Super League club, Olympiacos last summer at a region fee of €3.5million euros.

The versatile forward was involved in a bust-up at the club last month.

Murat Sancak, made a statement about Onyekuru, who is on the agenda to leave the team, concluded his words as follows:

Onyekuru will most likely not be with us. A final offer will come today, we will evaluate it accordingly. It will most likely go. In fact, we don’t need it right now. There are Akintola, Yusuf Sari, Nani, Yusuf Erdogan. We are not lacking. However, if we find a good player, we have a name in mind, we will consider him if it fits our terms.

Onyekuru however scored eight goals and provided three assists in 30 games for Adana Demirspor last season.

Onyekuru previously played for KAS Eupen, Anderlecht, Galatasaray and Monaco.
