Paris 2024: Tunisian referee to take charge of Banyana Banyana vs Super Falcons

The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has named Tunisia’s Dorsaf Ganouati as centre referee for the clash between Banyana Banyana of South Africa and the Super Falcons of Nigeria, Reelradio.com.ng reports.

The 2024 Olympic Games final round qualifying tie will be played at the Lotfus Versfeld Stadium, Pretoria, on Wednesday.

Tunisia’s Dorsaf Ganouati will be the centre referee while her compatriots Houda Afine and Emna Ajbouni will serve as first assistant and fourth official respectively. Yara Atef Said Abdelfattah of Egypt will be the second assistant referee.

The referee assessor Agar Mezing is Cameroonian while Cindy Dludlu from Eswatini will serve as the match commissioner.

The encounter is slated for the Loftus Versfeld Stadium, Pretoria on Wednesday.

The Super Falcons hold a 1-0 advantage going into the reverse fixture.

The overall winners will earn a berth in the women’s football event at Paris 2024.

Super Falcons land in South Africa for Banyana showdown

The Super Falcons of Nigeria have arrived in South Africa for the second leg of their 2024 Olympic Games qualifying fixture against the Banyana Banyana of South Africa.

Randy Waldrum and his players landed in Lagos on Sunday afternoon before connecting an Air Peace flight to O.R. Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg.

The contingent is expected to hit Pretoria later today.
