Super Eagles forward Umar Sadiq is close to finalizing a loan move to Valencia from Real Sociedad.
As reported by esteemed transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, the tall striker is scheduled to undergo a medical examination today to finalize the loan agreement.
Additionally, a buy option has been included in the loan contract, allowing Valencia the opportunity to secure the Nigeria international on a permanent basis at the conclusion of the season.
An agreement between the three parties was reached late on Thursday.
Before heading to the Valencia medical centre, where he will undergo tests, Sadiq confirmed that he will be at the Mestalla on Friday to watch the match against Real Madrid.
Asked by fans how he was feeling, Sadiq laughed, “Amunt València”, before jumping into an official club car.
His next adventure is now set to be with the Basque-based side and he will be hoping to rediscover his goalscoring form with the club.
