Remo Stars Snatched Late Win Over Akwa United At God’swill Akpabio International Stadium

Remo Stars secured a thrilling 2-1 victory over Akwa United in their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Match Day 20 clash at the iconic Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo. The match, which kicked off at 4 pm Nigerian Time, saw Akwa United take an early lead, only for Remo Stars to fight back and claim all three points.

The hosts, Akwa United, got off to a flying start, with Uche Sabastine scoring in the 6th minute to give them an early advantage. However, Remo Stars refused to give up, and their persistence paid off in the 74th minute when Samuel Anakwe equalized. The visitors then sealed the win in the 84th minute, courtesy of Adedayo Olamilekan’s strike it was their first ever victory at the God’swill Akpabio International Stadium.
