The Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA) has officially announced that Torsten Frank Spittler’s contract as the head coach of the Rwanda national team will not be renewed. This decision marks the end of Spittler’s one-year tenure at the helm of the Amavubi, Rwanda’s national football team.
Spittler, a German national, was appointed as the head coach of the Rwanda national team in January 2023, tasked with the responsibility of guiding the team to success in international competitions. During his tenure, Spittler oversaw several matches, including World Cup qualifiers and African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers.
