The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has revealed the contract details of new Super Eagles coach, Eric Chelle.
According to the NFF, Chelle has signed a two-year contract, with an option for a one-year extension if he qualifies the Super Eagles for the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals.
Chelle will come with three assistants and will work with the existing crew to enhance the Super Eagles’ brand. However, his role with the Super Eagles B team, which is preparing for the upcoming 8th African Nations Championship, will be limited to a supervisory capacity.
The NFF’s decision to reveal Chelle’s contract details is seen as a move towards transparency and accountability. With the new coach’s contract now public, Nigerians will be watching with keen interest to see if he can deliver on his mandate and qualify the Super Eagles for the 2026 World Cup.
