Nigerian international Folashade Ijamilusi has officially joined Liaoning Baiye in the Chinese Women’s Super League, signing a two-year contract that marks her exit from Edo Queens.
This transfer was orchestrated by FIFA-licensed agent Ayodele Thomas, and it adds a formidable presence to Liaoning Baiye as they pursue their title aspirations.
Ijamilusi has a remarkable track record, having led Edo Queens to victory in the 2024 West Africa Zone B (WAFU-B) Women’s Champions League held in Côte d’Ivoire.
She also made a significant impact during the club’s first-ever run in the CAF Champions League in Morocco, netting a goal in their opening match against CBE FC, which ended in a 3-0 win, and starting every game until a heart-wrenching semifinal loss to TP Mazembe.
