The Nigeria National League (NNL) for the 2024-25 season is set to commence on Saturday, November 30, as reported by Reelradio.com.ng.
This start date was established during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Bauchi.
The upcoming season will feature a condensed format, organized into four conferences designated as A, B, C, and D.
The conferences will be composed of an equal distribution of teams.
All 36 teams involved in the league gathered for the meeting.
Beyond Limits secured the NNL championship in the previous season.
Group A comprises well-known teams such as Sporting, Madiba, and Warri Wolves, in addition to rising contenders like Dakada and Solution.
In Group B, Inter Lagos and First Bank are prominent for their competitive nature, joined by newcomers Akpabio FC and Igbajo, who are ready to make an impact.
Group C features established teams like Sokoto and Gombe, set to compete against Malatarki and Emalex.
Group D presents an equally captivating scenario, with Kebbi, Doma, and Zamfara United all determined to leave their mark. Each group is poised to deliver thrilling matchups that will captivate fans.
As the league gears up for its commencement, Mr. George Aluo, the Chairman of the NNL, conveyed his excitement:
