Flying Eagles head coach Aliyu Zubairu has announced a 35-player roster for the team’s final training camp in preparation for the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

The seven-time African champions moved their training camp to Abuja on Monday.

The majority of the squad consists of players who participated in Nigeria’s successful run at the WAFU B U-20 Championship in Togo last year. Key players include Daniel Bameiyi, Ebenezer Harcourt, Adamu Maigari, Kenneth Igbokwe, and Sabiu Mohammed.

Additionally, Sulaiman Alabi ‘Jojo’, Nasiru Salihu, Oliseh Divine, Bidemi Amole, and Clinton Jephta have also been selected.

The camp will also feature seven players based abroad.

The Flying Eagles are placed in Group B of the U-20 AFCON, competing against Egypt, Morocco, and South Africa.

The tournament is set to begin in Cairo, Egypt, on April 27.
