To advance to this stage, Christopher Danjuma’s squad achieved a commanding 4-0 victory over Venezuela at Pascual Guerrero Stadium in Cali on Saturday, securing second place in their group with six points, following a narrow win against South Korea and a subsequent 3-1 defeat to Germany, who topped the group with a perfect record.
El Techo Stadium in Bogotá will host an event on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at 18:00 local time.
Nigeria has taken part in every edition of the competition since its inception in 2002, achieving their best results by reaching the finals twice, in 2010 and 2014.
Although the Falconets face a formidable challenge, they maintain a strong sense of confidence as they strive to overcome the formidable Japanese team.
If they succeed, they will encounter either Spain or Canada in the quarterfinals.
