Victor Osimhen, the Super Eagles star, has taken legal action against Turkish journalist Tolga Bozduman for defamation.
The journalist had accused Osimhen of assaulting him when he tried to take photos of the player after Galatasaray’s 3-3 draw with Dynamo Kyiv two weeks ago.
Osimhen has vehemently denied the allegations, stating that the journalist was lying and that he never hit him.
He even went on to say that if he had indeed hit the journalist, the journalist would have gotten justice, but since the journalist lied, he will face the consequences of the law.
The hearing for the defamation case is expected to start soon, with Osimhen seeking justice for the damage caused to his reputation by the journalist’s false accusations.
This development comes as Osimhen continues to excel on the pitch, having scored 16 goals and provided five assists in 21 appearances for Galatasaray.
